Get list of commits by an author

To see the list of commits by a particular author in git, you can use “git log –author”. Below is a hands-on example of the same.

We issue here command git log –author=”Code Version” to get all the list of commits by author “Code Version”. Note that it is a pattern-matching name, meaning it will match any authors with “Code Version” in their name.

~/repoone$ git log --author="Code Version"
